I finished my master’s degree of European Media Stud­ies in 2011 with a thesis about machine vision. By bringing together aesthetics, theory and cultural history with technical media skills and media production, European Media Studies provides an interdisciplinary approach to enable students to use and explain media technologies and to understand and communicate their social, cultural and political implications. I also hold and a bachelor’s degree in Com­m­un­ca­tion Sci­ence and stud­ied Human Secur­ity at Vreije Uni­versiteit Amsterdam.
